Ami Aripin has been editing for over a decade. As a child, she was often found with her nose in a book. In her teens, she dabbled in photography and at 18, had her photographs published in ‘Uncut’ – an anthology of poetry by 11 Singaporean school girls.
A year later in film school, Ami directed the short film ‘My Dad At The 129th Tunnel’ which was screened in festivals around the world. She worked as an edit assistant and started cutting factual entertainment for local and international broadcasters.
When she’s not in the editing suite, Ami’s probably at home wrangling her 2 cats or binge-watching telly.
